Tachometer The purpose of the Car Club Challenge (CCC) is to have Fun, Meet New Friends, Race for Trophies and Promote Drag Racing as a Safe, Legal and Structured Activity for those who feel the "Need For Speed"!  
Racers will compete for individual points in eleven CCC races this year.

Team Members' points will be added together to determine the Winning Car Club.  An Awards Picnic will be held at the end of the season to honor Top Individuals and Clubs.

2008 marks the return to action for all you hardy Car Club Challenge participants.   If you've never run your car down the quarter mile, there's never been a better time than Now!   You'll have plenty of "coaches" to give you advice on how to make the best time and should anything happen to your race vehicle, there are plenty of people to help you fix it! You don't even have to have a Camaro to race and if you don't want to race, come on down anyway to Cheer us on!! 2008 CCC races take place at Pacific Raceways (PR) on Fridays and the Bremerton Raceway on Saturdays. PR opens at 4:00 PM and eliminations start around 6:30 PM. Bremerton opens at 8:00 AM and eliminations start around Noon.

How much does all of this fun cost?
  • Pacific Raceways Membership Card (paid once a year to race at PR) $10.00
  • Car Club Challenge Membership Fee (annual dues) $5.00
  • Pacific Raceway Tech Card (each race) $30.00
  • Bremerton Raceway Tech Card (each race) $35.00
  • Anyone may race who has a street-legal car.   Common tech-in problems that might keep you from racing are an open cooling system (no catch container for radiator overflow), an improperly secured battery, or too much rubber fuel line (less than 12 inches is allowed).  If your car has a convertible top or T-tops, bring a DOT-approved helmet.  For a complete list of the Car Club Challenge Rules see the Car Club Challenge Rules Pamphlet for 2008.
